Therapists
Dr. Kayla Roth, PT, DPT, Cert DN, CKTP, graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Ambrose University in Iowa with a Bachelors of Exercise Science in 2009 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2010. Dr. Roth has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics with certifications in electrotherapy and ultrasound guided dry needling and diagnostics, LSVT BIG and is a certified kinesiotaping practitioner. She is also trained in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), cupping, spinal manipulation and has additional experience with neurological and vestibular conditions including vertigo and BBPV.
Dr. Roth is also an avid runner who has ran over twenty marathons, including over ten Boston Marathons, one New York Marathon, seven Chicago marathons, one Lehigh Valley Marathon and one Marine Corps. She plans to continue racing the Boston Marathon for as long as she can continue to re-qualify. Her next goals are to compete in the London, Tokyo and Berlin Marathons in order to achieve the Abbott World Majors Six-Star Medal which is a prestigious award given to runners who complete all six work major marathons. Dr. Roth utilizes her passion for running and sports to help her athletes return to their sport at their peak performance level and specializes in running gait video analysis and assessment.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and friends. She enjoys practicing with and watching her daughters play softball, riding bikes, cooking, baking, gardening and entertaining family and friends. Dr. Roth is also an active member of the APTA.

Samantha Duda, LPTA graduated from Shenandoah University with her Bachelors of Science with a focus in Exercise Science in 2012. Sam continued on to achieve her Physical Therapist Assisting degree from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in 2013. Sam has spent the majority of her career in the Outpatient Physical Therapy setting and also has experience in Home Health. Samantha focuses on using a variety of manual therapy techniques, patient education and personalized exercise programs in order to get patients back to doing what they love. Samantha enjoys treating patients with a variety of conditions but has a special love for the geriatric population and is a LSVT BIG certified provider specializing in the treatment of Parkinsons.
In her spare time, Samantha is busy keeping up with her two boys and husband. On Fridays in the fall, you can find her at the local high school cheering on her husband’s football team. On Saturdays, you can find her on some sort of field, soccer or baseball, with her boys. With whatever time is left over, she enjoys crafting, working out or watching the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles.

Cailtin Maat, LPTA attended Blue Ridge Community Technical College’s PTA program, where she completed multiple clinical rotations and gained experience in a variety of settings. These settings include a skilled nursing facility where she worked primarily with elderly patients struggling with balance and weakness, and a home health setting where she gained experience working with post-operative patients recovering from knee replacements, hip replacements, and lower extremity amputations. Since graduating with her PTA degree in 2016, she has worked primarily in an outpatient setting where she has gained extensive experience treating orthopedic injuries, such as low back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint replacements, and other post-surgical cases. She is also certified in LSVT BIG to treat Parkinson’s Disease. She is fascinated by how exercise plays a role in the body’s healing process. She loves to work with people in all stages of life with various injuries and limitations, and seeing patients get better and succeed at doing things that they couldn’t do yesterday, last week, or months ago.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family including her two dogs. She likes outdoor activities such as camping, gardening with her outdoor and indoor plants, and would never pass up a relaxing trip to the beach where she can read books all day. Being that she was born and raised in Virginia, she’s a loyal fan who roots for the Commanders and Capitals.
